How to Use MyFitnessPal with Plan to Eat

Fitness and calorie tracking apps are great for calculating macros of single-ingredient items, prepackaged food, or even fast food. But if you cook most of your meals at home, it can be a pain to calculate the nutrition facts for the recipes you make.

As always, the development team is working hard to fix bugs and build new features for the mobile app and website!

Mobile App Updates

This month we released version 3.1.1.

  • We updated the app tour. New users will see the new, animated experience before they sign up. Existing users can tap the profile icon > Tour to be guided through some of our coolest features!
  • We updated the recipe form’s category fields. You can now manage your courses, cuisines, main ingredients, and tags while you’re updating a recipe.
  • We fixed some animation bugs related to how pages open and close on the Cook, Plan, and Shop tabs.
  • As you might imagine, buttons are supposed to work right instead of crash. We fixed a bug that was causing a handful of pages to crash when a few specific buttons were tapped.

Desktop Updates:

  • We fixed a bug that was causing recipe file imports that included emojis to fail.
  • We fixed a bug that would switch the recipe view from the table to the grid after visiting the meal planner.
  • We improved the Recipe Clipper’s accuracy when saving recipes from multiple websites.
  •  We added a limit on imported recipe ingredients from the web to 100 ingredients.

Leave a Google Play Review

“Plan to Eat is a unique app that has helped in making cooking and shopping easy for me. The best features are it’s simplicity in adding a recipe, a shopping list is automatically created for ingredients and it is organized by sections of the grocery store, and the app automatically changes the amount of recipe ingredients needed to correspond to the number of servings i am making. I love it!”
