Re-post: Tips for meal planning after vacation

We hope you have fun summer vacation plans! Let’s highlight a post from last summer about how to get back into your meal-planning habit after a vacation.

What’s New

  • In case you missed it: we added the option to view your Shopping List by “All Items” instead of grouping by store! This allows you to sort your Shopping List by category for an efficient way to look at all your items simultaneously.
  • Our Instagram account was hacked a couple of weeks ago (you may have seen this email from us about it) and we started a new account while we try to recover our original one. Please head over to @plantoeat_official and give us a follow on that new account! We appreciate your support!

Program Updates

The development team is working hard to make updates and add new features to both the desktop and mobile app versions of Plan to Eat!

Desktop Version

  • We added the option to group your shopping list items by “All Items” or by grocery store!
  • Added a heart icon next to the favorite store heading.
  • Updated the category headings style to match the mobile app.
  • Moved the “Grocery Delivery” option down the page and made it a “Deliver Groceries” button.

Mobile App

Turn on app auto-updates or update in App Store/Google Play to get the most recent version of the Plan to Eat app! This month we released app versions 3.3.2 – 3.3.4

  • We added an option to the Shopping List to show “All Items” together instead of grouping items by store.
  • We added a settings modal to the Staples List so you can customize the list appearance without returning to the Shopping List.
  • We removed empty stores from the Shopping List and added a “You did it!” message when the list is empty.
  • We added an extra “Add to Shopping List” action button to the Staples List and an “Add to Planner” button when viewing recipes.
  • We improved recipe search performance.
  • We patched a small bug that was affecting the grocery delivery interface.
