1 C. yellow mung dal
1-2 carrots peeled and sliced thin
4-5 leaves of kale collard or nice handful of dandelion greens or spinach
small handful green beans (may use zucchini yellow squash, any vegetable)
1 T. fresh ginger peeled and chopped (not necessary to peel if organic)
1 T. unsweetened, shredded coconut
1 medium handful fresh cilantro leaves chopped
3 T. ghee
1 t. cumin seeds-- may use ground spices
1 t. fennel seeds
12 tsp black mustard seeds
12 tsp. garam masala
12 tsp. turmeric
1 t. salt
6 cups water
